Commemorative bottling! To commemorate our status as the “Official Wine for Sailors”, we crafted this one-of-a-kind blend from our estate vineyards.
This exciting blend highlights the depth of our estate vineyards. In 2010, the Petit Verdot from our estate Endeavour vineyard was exceptional. To honor the quality of this fruit, we decided to produce a first for Dry Creek Vineyard – a wine made with 60% Petit Verdot. At first swirl, the wine presents an immediate spicy pepper character along with black fig, red currant and black cherry fruits. On the palate the wine is succulent with tannins that are refined. Several more turns of the glass reveal a layered wine with depth and complexity. Well structured and balanced, this beautiful wine has the potential to age 20 years and more than likely, much longer depending on storage conditions.
