Winemaker Notes:

This vintage of Taylor’s Vineyard Sauvignon Musqué displays the elegance and sophistication of a fine white Graves. Initially, the wine is crisp, clean and luscious with fresh ripe fruit and complex aromas of citrus, lavender and honeysuckle. The palate reveals wonderful depth and complexity presenting flavors of pear, guava, peach and kiwi. After several minutes, secondary spice elements such as nutmeg and hints of pepper shine through. The stainless steel fermentation preserves the racy acidity and excellent structure in this wine. Delicious from start to finish!

Winemaker Notes:

Located just across the historic Lambert Bridge lies our Estate Sauvignon Blanc, DCV3 vineyard. With 16 acres under vine, this unique vineyard is the backbone of our Sauvignon Blanc program. Initially, the aromatic profile encompasses spicy characters that take on jalapeño and white pepper notes. After several more minutes, citrus, fresh grass and grapefruit come forward. The palate is vibrant with lemon, lime and grassy nuances. The balance is superb with underlying minerality and acidity presenting a lovely backdrop for the citrus laden fruit. This is a wine that expresses the terroir of the vineyard and that of the Dry Creek Valley.

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Winemaker Notes:

Year in and year out, Beeson Ranch provides us with our most distinctive Zinfandel fruit. Produced from historic, pre-Prohibition era vines, the initial aromatics of the wine are subtle with underlying dried floral and white pepper elements. After several minutes of airing, more dramatic aromas of cardamom, graphite and blackberry characters come through. The palate is supple and rich with silky tannins that mingle with dark cherry, blackberry and blueberry fruits. The finish is long and pure with a mouthwatering finish.

Winemaker Notes:

Somers Ranch Zinfandel is always one of our most deeply perfumed and brambly Zinfandels. The orientation and slope of the vineyard and its naturally low yields provide us with a wine that is dark and rich with wonderful briary spice. The aromatics lean toward black pepper and clove, with the fruit remaining bright and concentrated on the nose. The palate is reminiscent of a rich berry pie with toasted crust and complex spices. This wine has full, fl eshy tannins that are silky and smooth and keep the entire tasting experience seamless from start to fi nish.

Winemaker Notes:

This Zinfandel is all about the expression of the vineyard. The Spencer’s Hill Zinfandel comes from the top knoll of Endeavour Vineyard where the soil is thin and rocky. The vines in this part of the vineyard work hard to produce just a few precious clusters. Initially, the aromatics present a black fruit character with underlying black and white pepper along with cardamom. The spicy upfront bouquet is unique to this Zin. On the palate, the texture is dense and full-bodied offering a wonderful core of blackberry, raspberry and blueberry fruit. The tannins are smooth and the mouthfeel is refined and integrated. Delicious Zin!

Winemaker Notes:

At first swirl, this impressive wine shows plenty of depth and character that belies its young age. Notes of blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate are immediately evident along with more subtle cardamom, black tea and white pepper spices. With some more airing, the wine reveals additional depth and character with baking spices and toasted cobbler notes shining through. The theme of refinement continues on the palate with a smooth tannin structure that is fleshy and well balanced. The fruit and oak play off one another in a very appealing way that provides a harmonious and well integrated palate experience. This Zinfandel delivers a seamless and well integrated finish and leaves one desiring another juicy palate filling sip.

Winemaker Notes:

This is a dynamic wine drinking experience from start to finish. Initially, the aromatics display a dusty, floral nuance that is inviting and compelling. Several more minutes in the glass show wonderful briary spice with blackberries, cherries and red raspberry fruits shining through. On the palate, the wine is dense and richly flavored with well structured tannins and excellent acidity and backbone. Additional complexity builds as the wine opens with aeration leading to delicate spice and floral notes. This new Zinfandel is stunning and should have the ability to age for 10 years or more.
